Instructions for Gay’s Netted Shawl:

Materials:
350 yds worsted weight (#5) yarn
Size 13 needles

Gauge is not critical to this project.

Abbreviations:
kfb: knit into the front and back of the stitch
k2tog: knit two stitches together

Loosely cast on 34 sts.

Set up:
row 1: Kfb, k to last st, kfb
row 2: K

Begin pattern:
Row 1: Kfb, k1, *y, k2tog* rep from *to* to last st, kfb.
Row 2: K2, p to last 2 sts, k2.
Row 3: Kfb, *k2tog, yo* rep from *to* to last 2 sts, k1, kfb.
Row 4: K2, p to last 2 sts, k2

Repeat rows 1-4 to desired length. Knit 2 rows, Bind of all sts.
Weave in ends, block if needed.
